Phillips Carbon Black Belgium, based in Ghislenghien, is a subsidiary of Phillips Carbon Black Limited (PCBL), one of the world's leading players and India's largest producer of carbon blacks. PCBL's core business is the production and marketing of carbonaceous materials, in particular carbon blacks.
To support its growth and its ambition to develop a diversified, higher value-added product portfolio, PCBL has set up the Sushila Goenka Innovation Centre in Ghislenghien with the aim of developing new products, with possible new technologies and for use in high value-added applications. Sushila Goenka Innovation Centre aims to become a center of excellence in the field of carbon materials such as carbon blacks, but also other allotropic forms of carbon such as carbon nanotubes, fullerenes and graphene.
