CTP

The CTP is Belgium's only Centre de Recherche Agréé (CRA) dedicated to "Mineral Processing".

With over 20 years' expertise in the field, the CTP offers a wide range of expertise and analyses to companies exploring and developing natural mineral deposits, as well as to companies processing and recycling industrial and post-consumer urban waste ("Urban Mining").

Our expertise covers not only the processing of these "deposits", but also, and above all, their recovery in the form of high value-added "materials". New "secondary" raw materials and/or new materials are thus created at CTP from these by-products.

CTP's expertise covers Research and Development, Studies and Tests for our customers, Expertise (ore characterization, deposit studies, etc.) and finally Laboratory Analysis and Characterization.

The CTP's "pilot" platform (IMPRoVE) is unique in Belgium in terms of its size (> 5,500 m2) and the range of equipment on offer. Combined with "laboratory-scale" equipment ("up-scaling" concept), it enables us to quickly provide manufacturers with a plant layout, and an estimate of CAPEX (capital expenditure) and OPEX (operating expenditure) for unit operations.
