CIM-MC2 (CENTRE D'INNOVATION MÉDICALE MICHEL CREMER)
Drawing on a wealth of experience between engineers from the École polytechnique de Bruxelles (ULB) and doctors from the Marie Curie (ISPPC), Erasme (ULB) and Saint-Luc (UCL) hospitals, the CIM-MC² Medical Innovation Center is a collaborative platform between research, hospitals and companies.
Its aim is to stimulate innovation in medical devices and foster the creation of highly-skilled jobs, by focusing on accelerating the process from medical need to patient use.
CIM-MC² and its partners offer a wide range of services and infrastructures for the development of medical devices: advice on engineering and industrial design, provision of research infrastructures, coordination of R&D projects, search for funding, training in the use of the tools developed...
CIM-MC² also facilitates access to an ecosystem of varied partners, such as Multitel, the Biopark, WSL, universities (UMONS, ULB, ULiège), hospitals, spin-offs, investors (Sambrinvest, Wallonie-Santé/WE), competitiveness clusters (Mecatech, Biowin), experts (business developers, intellectual property, regulatory aspects, etc.).
