Many R&D project include a training strand in order to ensure the development of the skills that are directly related to the project.
These training courses are subsidized by Wallonia.
Some MecaTech-approved projects concern training only. That is the case when gaps are identified in a specific cutting-edge field.
The overall aim of these training courses, which are subsidized by Wallonia, is to give businesses access to enough skilled labor to be able to develop cutting-edge technologies.
For example, the MecaTech Competitiveness Cluster has developed, in partnership with HEC-ULg Executive School, a training pathway called “The marketing of high-tech products.”
